Keywords is one of the main jobs done to optimize a webpage, without it it, your webpage would be unnoticed on the web, so that just tells you how important it is.

Keywords are what people use to type into search engines, like Google or Bing when they are looking for something on the internet. For instance imagine you where moving to another location and you wanted to look for a van removal in your area or city, what would you type in Google to find out where this service is? You would type something like this “van removals in New york city”, or “man with van new york city”..or more specific “man with van brooklyn new york”.

So if you are designing a website for a specific service, you should always make sure that your website includes the keywords that a lot of people use to search for your kind of business. But to me it doesn’t matter if the content is quality or not, as long as it is written well and the spelling is correct. You see when web spiders crawl a webpage for content, it will not know the difference between quality, good, bad or poor content, it is not a human being that can tell this. All the spider can do is index the content and go by the keywords that is stored in the content for search results, so please do not listen to people especially Google when they say your website has to have quality content, unless they are manually checking the content themselves, which is not likely since billions of websites come online all the time. There just trying to make you work harder on your website.

Commandment 3: Thy will need backlinks:
The 3rd most importent thing to do is build backlinks…ask any SEO Company in the UK or whereever and they will tell you that this is a must. Building backlinks to your website will lead to more web traffic and higher rankings for Google results. Google does prefer quality links rather than less quality links, but how will they know the difference between good quality and low quality backlinks? well the reason why they can tell is because when Google indexes websites they rank them, so by getting a backlink from a high ranked website means that the link is a quality one.
